It has been exactly a year since I bought my first Katwise sweater (back when sweaters could linger in the shop for more than a few seconds :), and I have been wearing my growing collection every day since. A lot can happen in a year, and Kat's creations were there with me for the highs and especially the lows. I huddled in a wool hoodie for days after my dad passed away, and slept in my longest coat when my boyfriend was in the hospital. My arm warmers padded my wrists while I worked on my first book and the sweaters kept me warm and happy on countless evening walks with my cats (!). Finally in my 40s I have a style and clothes I love. I don't know if clothes make the woman, but Kat's beauties have sure made this woman happy. Thank-you Kat, you are a gem!!

Oooh, I love this Cardigan. It is a soft and pretty and wonderful. When I wear Kat's creations I get stopped and ask where I got them, A LOT, and one guy told me he use to own a boutique in Manhattan and he think he could sell Kat's sweater coats for $900 in a boutique. This is not just beautiful, this is not just wonderful, this is not just crazy creative, it is magical.. I just love love love love it.! It took a little adjusting to the fit as if you have not tried one of these on before the fit is unique and I'm sure each piece fits each person a little differently. But after about 5 minutes I determined that I want to wear it every day...it not only looks but feel wonderful. However, every day in the same coat would be maybe repetitive , that is why I'm getting more! As soon as I get a good price for my children, okay I have not children, but if I did. Also the first person who saw me in it said if I were you I would never take it off! Thank you, thank you, thank you Kat for this magical piece of art. It makes me feel like a fairy or some kind of mythical forest being. It is true what others have said, the pictures cannot capture the textures and subtle gradations in tones of fabric, for mine the bluish cast to many of the greens, and quality of the knits, or the quality of construction, and Kat's eye for shapes, and juxtaposition of colors and patters, it is truly amazing.

More than I could ever have imagined it would be. It will be a gift for my youngest daughter who is 19 for Christmas. She got one of Kat's sweaters for her birthday and her entire dorm of girls loved it. When the coat arrived the colors made me smile, the different textures made it a piece of art. I just had to try it on and it was magical. I got in front of the mirror and twirled and twirled. I will be 51 yrs old tomorrow and the coat made me feel like I was 20 again. I can't wait to get my own magical traveling coat and loose myself in its magic.

It came today, on a day when I truly needed something bright and amazing in my life. Perfect timing! This coat was absolutely, positively worth the two HOURS I spent refreshing my screen last Sunday night. I felt like a bit of a dork, sitting in my bed with my laptop, constantly hitting that little circular arrow button - but it did give me solace to know that out there in cyberland there were approximately 48 or so OTHER PEOPLE doing the same exact thing in the hopes of finding the perfect sweater. Sweater after sweater appeared that night... all beautiful, all unique - all right for *someone* out there in particular. This one was the last sweater of the night, and I think I looked at it for about .5 seconds before frantically hitting the green button to put in my cart. And when I realized that I had actually *done* it - that magical sweater was mine... there was a rush of adrenaline & a huge smile on my face. I knew it was meant to be. And then I couldn't sleep because I kept thinking about my sweater. I lay in bed for an hour before sneaking off to the bathroom to open my laptop and look at it again... My husband would have thought I was crazy. Finally I drifted off to sleep... And then all last week I stalked my own sweater in Kat's "sold" section... I must have looked at it a few times a day... Ridiculous. And then it ARRIVED on Saturday. And it is GLORIOUS. It is the most beautiful, original, passionately perfect thing in my closet - and it makes me so so so happy. I can't wait to go out in the world and wear this amazing sweater & meet all the people who secretly wish they had the guts to wear it... The reality is we ALL have the guts to wear Kat's sweaters - we just have to cut through the crap & embrace true beauty when we see it. THANK YOU KAT.

When I was little I had a white turtleneck dress with red hearts all over it. It was my favorite thing and I wore it every every every day. This coat is a real art piece and the most amazing garment I've ever owned. The day it arrived I was feeling kinda dreary and lack-lustre. Well, I opened it and wow!! Instant joy. What can I say? This is officially the most wonderful, lovely garment in my closet! Not to be too sentimental or goofy, but I've had 4 kids (3 in the last 5 years), with the last one born only a few months ago - lately, I've felt like just some fat useless lump. All my beautiful patchwork clothes from before my last 3 sons don't fit, so I've felt relegated to boring solid tees from the thrift store. I've felt frumpy, boring, heavy...depressing all around. Maybe I'm shallow, but putting this sweater on gave me an instant boost...made me feel so much more like myself. So well made. So many beautiful earthy colors. So interesting...like I felt before all the kids. It reminded me that I am not just a mom - I am a traveler, a philosopher, a woman of depth (on child care sabbatical...lol). Maybe I'm shallow...if all it takes is a sweater for me to get a little extra self-esteem these days...but I don't think so. Received the arm warmers today and am ready to work these bad boys tomorrow. They are wonderfully sewn, these will not fall apart and are not at all "itchy" as some other wool items can be. Kat mentioned that she listens to music while she's sews and the moment I put them on, I was doing the samba!
