As always these gloves are original, vibrant and very well made. I have 4 pairs already and keep an eye out for any new ones because they sell out in minutes. Beautiful soft cashmere & cotton. I love the colors and the built in shawl/cowl neck! Super warm & fun. I tie dyed yoga pants and a neck gaiter to make a matching outfit. The sweater arrived doused in perfume from transit, but several weeks of airing out prior to washing helped neutralize it.

I love the booklet. It explained in great detail how to construct a sweater coat. I love the story line that explained things that could and probably would go wrong and how to approach a solution. I'm very excited to make my first coat.

I've never sewed before in my life but I'm a wide eyed optimist. So, I bought the recommended serger and went thrifting. The ideas are clearly written with pictures and some humor. For 16 years, I have been vying to own something this inspiring, talented, unique, special, generally lovely human created - and now I finally have one of her original pieces. I cannot express how much I love, love, love this sweater! I feel incredibly lucky to call it mine and I think that the misses on other sweaters led me straight to this one! I love it more each time I wear it. I feel like it was made for me. This sweater is from the first James Joyce release and is called "Peloothered", which means thoroughly intoxicated. One of my favorite things about this sweater is that the striped section on the sleeves is sewn in at such an angle that the lines run diagonally. I can't help but wonder if that had anything to do with how it got its name. Thank you, Kat, for your creativity, beautiful work and artistic vision when choosing colors and patterns to go together. It’s has been well worth the hunt for my wife’s very own Katwise masterpiece 👩🏽🎨. The packaging was placed on the table by my son before I got home and my wife happen to notice the package. Reading through the patterns are a delight; so full of personality that I feel like Kat is talking to me. I'm not through the coat or hoodie pattern yet but I've read through the entirety of arm warmers. I do hope that the patterns touch on how to best "felt wool" and which wool blends to look for/stay away from. If not, she did leave a nice link for a book that I bet has that information in it. Thank you for this, Kat! I appreciate you sharing your art-love baby. Someday I will be lucky enough to grab a hoodie but until my gotchya day, I'm going to spend time with my serger and my own little pile of fluffy chaos!

Worth it. I am an experienced sewist and I could have figured out the basic construction just by looking at pictures. But there were some important considerations I had not thought of before I read this tutorial. Add to that a few useful tips and tricks, and I think this saved me $10 worth of frustration and "well sh*t" moments. Can't wait to get started on my coat. :)

I have small wrists (think small teen sized) so when choosing I went with a pair that looked tight on Kat. THEY FIT PERFECT! Not much stretch room, but I like the snug feel so it's perfect for me and they won't fall off ever! So warm too, perfect for wearing outside on chilly windy days.

absolutely loved Hunter-Seeker but she was a bit too short for my liking and a little tight around the bust. The sweater overall is gorgeous, and details were accurate, but my body was not meant for it. I just shipped it off to another woman in the exchange group as a trade for Ghost In A Graveyard. I haven’t yet used this pattern but it seems well written and easy to follow. Very unique. It was sent in a message within 24 hours of buying, but as a seller myself, if you don’t respond to the email it goes against your “star seller” percentage, and I didn’t w any to respond creating more messages for the seller to read. Great little booklet, with loads of information, and although just basic's in the Tutorial, this Coat is one of those out of the ordinary and difficult to explain really, but there is enough of an explanation to send all creatives off onto their own exploration into the how two's. One needs to be creative, have a wonderful imagination, and know how to sew, and cut out all the bits, then begin creating on their own journey of discovery. When looking for idea's on what I had in my head to create a Cloak/Coat or Cloat as I like to call it, I went out looking to see if anyone had the same or similar idea's to me. With this coat coming into the closest to my own imagined old but new idea coming to fruition in the new future.

As an experienced couture designer, I was able to figure out the design before receiving the PDF but was shocked by how cute, comprehensive, personable and fun it was. I ordered 3 arm warmers in one purchase while the collection of arm warmers were listed to sell, after my first purchase I decided to get another pair of arm warmers, which was technically a second order. At point of sale I was charged for shipping, but Kat was so awesome and without me asking for a reimbursement on shipping one order (since both orders of arm warmers were coming to one address anyway), Kat refunded the shipping on the 2nd order and packed the 4 pairs all together for shipment. I was very pleased she refunded the shipping fee, no questions asked. She's not only a talented artist, but such a kind artist. I love katwise designs and hope to put a spin on it. The tutorial is fun to read & pics of process are very user friendly. I love her way of writing it as if she is right next to you walking you through each step like a caring teacher. Beautiful sweater! The actual colors of the sweater were more muted than what was displayed on my monitor, but that made it look more soft and earthy (it looked almost garish on my monitor). Loved the deep pockets, and the sleeves had thumb holes!

Beautiful sweater. Floof is a little itchy, but its still beautiful. It wasn't perfect for me, but a did a trade thru the Katwise Sweater Exchange group and got Wave and Whelm that is much less itchy. Made us both happy and Zypheria found the perfect home. ❤

I have been lucky enough to snag some of Kat's amazing wearable art before and I knew it was incredible, but nothing could have prepared me for this masterpiece. When I found it I had already built one on my own, off the top of my head, but reading this book first would have helped greatly. It is full of great tips and methods. I bought this as a gift for a good friend, and it got lost in the mail for a month!!! Aaaaccckkkk but I tried to remain calm, and did a formal inquiry with the postal service. Also my local post master loves me (and my katwise sweaters), and pushed for it to be resolved. Finally it was delivered today to my friend, and I SWEAR you made it just for her. I have wanted to buy a Katwise sweater ever since I discovered the artist on Facebook, but alas, so do many others. Every time she adds sweaters to her shop they are gone in what seems to be the blink of an eye. It just so happened that on the day I bought these arm warmers I wasn’t “shopping” I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Was it luck, serendipity? Call it what you will, but I fell in love with these cuties and couldn’t wait to get my hands on them ( or IN them rather). Let’s just say that I am in love!!! The “Duke of Gordon’s Daughter” is absolutely, fantastically gorgeous! I’m deeply in love and think the only thing that may overshadow my love for this sweater would be the purchase of a Katwise coat. This was my first Katwise sweater, and it was love at first sight (in other words, I was hooked!).
