Katwise Hoodie Tutorial
Katwise Hoodie Tutorial
This is a colorful ebook to teach people how they can go about making their own Katwise style Upcycled Hoodie. This is the shorter version than my big extravagant coats which are covered in my original tutorial.
This listing is for a DIGITAL FILE that will be available for download immediately upon payment.
I worked hard to make Sweater guide really bright and fun. This ebook includes 82 pages of color photos, diagrams, anecdotes and sweater secrets. I have tried to make it engaging and inexpensive enough that, even if you are not sure you can sew, you still might enjoy the read.
THIS IS NOT A FORMAL PATTERN WITH PRECISE MEASUREMENTS
Patterns will not work well with one of a kind, upcycled garments (trust me!) This is a picturesque journey through making a sweater which will give you the techniques you need to make one in the size and style that suits your spirit.
WHAT MATERIALS DO I NEED?
- A serger works best - but don't let the lack of a serger stop you.
- 4 Spools of overlock thread
- Approximately 20 Sweaters (choosing the right sweaters is an art unto itself, and I will walk you through this process)
- A sense of humor
WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE A SERGER?
Although sergers make this a much easier project, you can still make it with a zig zag stitch or sew by hand.
IS THIS SUITABLE FOR A BEGINNER?
Learning to sew with sweaters has a lot of tricks (which I try to share!). This project is best suited for people who have experience sewing with a serger, but beginners are encouraged to follow their bliss and give it a try too! I have been impressed by the lovely creations that fisrt-timers have made.
CAN I USE THIS PATTERN FOR PLUS SIZED/CHILD SIZE/MENS SWEATER?
Yes! With a little cleverness this pattern can be easily adapted to all sizes. The sky is the limit!
IS THIS AN ACTUAL BOOK? CAN I PRINT IT?
This is an ebook download, so you will not be getting anything in your mailbox. It is many colorful pages, so it might be a bit expensive to print out, but you are welcome to do so. You might want to try printing it greyscale to save a small fortune in ink.
DO YOU MIND IF I SELL THE SWEATERS I MAKE WITH THIS PATTERN?
People who purchase this pattern have my blessing to sell this design in small quantities. I just ask that you give my shop a shout out in your listing, and be kind.
